BUILT FROM RUINS

Built from Ruins EP
PRESS RELEASE: epoke RELEASES NEW EP “Built from Ruins”
“Built from Ruins” is the upcoming EP from Danish melodic rock band epoke, set for release on June 27th. The EP brings together the band’s three previous singles – Stranger in a Crowd, God Complex, and The Ministry of Presence – along with two brand-new and heavier tracks that showcase epoke’s most intense sound to date.
The first new single, “Nuclear Missile”, is a high-voltage rock track about toxic attraction and emotional self-destruction. With lyrics like “Internal screams implode / My heart is erupting, about to explode”, the song portrays a woman as a dangerously irresistible force – destructive, explosive, and impossible to resist. Fueled by heavy riffs, pounding drums, and soaring vocals, the track captures the madness of losing yourself in someone who could tear you apart.
The second track, “Unbreakable”, is a defiant anthem about inner strength and resilience. With the powerful chorus line “You cannot bring me down / I’m unbreakable, forevermore”, the song is a declaration of survival – about standing tall through chaos, pain, and loss, and refusing to be defeated. Its dynamic arrangement balances aggression and melody in true epoke fashion.
The EP title, Built from Ruins, reflects the core message of both new songs: even when everything seems broken, you can rise again – harder, wiser, and stronger.
Following national airplay and growing attention for previous releases, epoke continues to build momentum with Built from Ruins – a bold and emotional statement from a band that blends melody with muscle.
